When I first heard the magical and enticing siren call to join Scentsy I had no true appreciation of the implications and impact such a call would have upon my life. I did not know that Scentsy is a company based in the city of Meridian, in the great state of Idaho. Nor did I know that Scentsy’s premier product is a device known as a candle warmer. I did not possess the foggiest idea that the company known as Scentsy was founded in Salt Lake City in the great state of Utah in the year of our Lord 2003.
It was not until I actually fully committed to the idea to join Scentsy that I came into the knowledge that Scentsy sells its products through the use of a multi level and direct structure of selling. It was at this time that I finally opened my eyes and became aware that this multi level and direct selling structure happens in concert with the use of what is known as the party plan model for the purposes of marketing all of Scentsy’s wonderful smelling products.
Once I had been taken into the warm and nurturing bosom of the corporation which goes by the name of Scentsy I found myself referred to in my capacity as a member of the multi-level sales force by the title of consultant. It was at this point in my journey that I came to know that in addition to the many candle warmers and intoxicating scented wax, Scentsy also sells a myriad of bath products, a legion of cosmetics, a gaggle of laundry items, and many other similar products. In the year of our Lord 2014, Scentsy made the announcement that the number of consultants within its employ did in fact exceed two hundred thousand souls.
